Regularly eating breakfast can help you lose weight, improve your mood , and even help ward off  disease. Here are 4 things that happen to your body if you skip the breakfast.

Skipping the breakfast makes you fat:-

Breakfast skippers  have a higher risk of obesity. Skipping breakfast  slows  your metabolism  and increase your hunger , this can add  up to extra calories  over time . By missing your morning food you are also setting yourself up for overeating later in the day.

Higher risk of type-2 diabetes:-

Women who regularly miss breakfast have a higher risk of type 2 diabetes opposed to  women who eat breakfast every day. Skipping the morning meal is linked with impaired glucose tolerance and that is further linked with the development of diabetes.

Bad your heart:-

A study from Harvard University found that men who skipped breakfast had a 27% greater risk of heart attack or heart disease when compared to those who eat breakfast.

Affects your mood and energy levels:-

When you skip breakfast your body may not have sufficient energy to perform its daily functions.The body may start taking energy stored as glucose from your tissues which can cause you feel tried.
